In this category, you will find items that pertain to Christmas. Among them are Vintage and Retro pieces recovered from the past as well as many ornaments. Most of our Ornaments are "hand-made", locally, using recycled materials. My Mother loves to bring me home "treasures" which I re-use to create unique items. [click Image to enlarge] | MARYCANA ANGELS: Charming Angels that can be used to set on tables, counters, mantles, etc or used as tree ornaments. Label on the bottom is imprinted "Marycana;San Jose, California. Brand new, although there is no original box. These angelic beings stand about 5 3/4"(h) and 2 5/8" across the base. Their dress is a heavy satin with their wings fashioned from a wired silk bow... thye hold a bouquet of roses in their hand. [click Image to enlarge] | VICTORIAN FABRIC CONE: The "Victorian's" almost always had these cones for the Christmas Holiday in one form or another.......most were paper and filled with candies and small treats. These cones are made from fabric and filled with Moss and Baby's Breath (home grown) and will last for years to come. The lace is recycled as well as the material. Some of the lace come from estate sales and refashioned. [click Image to enlarge] | LARGE PRISM: A large geniune "pear-shaped" prism is used here to create an elegant tree ornament that reflects little shimmers of light on the Christmas Tree. Silk, wired ribbon in shades of pink, gold and brown adds to the romance of this Victorian piece...the edges of these prisms "appear" to be handcut..total length of ribbon is about 9", while the Prism itself is 3 1/2"(l) x 1 3/4"(w)....recycled "prisms.... Many of us enjoy the daintiness that snowflakes bring into Christmas. These are all handmade, many from estate sales. Sizes and shapes can vary just as no two, real, snowflakes are alike.
